Not very much, this is rather common, the light engine or the display chip in the the light engine, the so called DLP chip can be replaced but its not cheap, cheaper than the whole engine but not cheap------also some with this will gradually get more and more pixels out.....

Dead pixels

The lamp has nothing to do with dead pixels---no model is listed here but if a lamp you have a damaged optical light engine which causes the dead pixels in the picture.

Optical engines use a large number inside of micro-mirrors that open and close--if stuck in either position a pixel will not be working correctly.

My tv have hundreds of little white spots all over the screen. How do I get them off?

hi; its a dead pixel you cannot remove that, if it has a warranty try to return it to the store, if not that's a big problem the only way is to replace the LCD screen, that's the expensive part of the LCD TV. its the one factor be checked when buying an LCD TV or LCD monitor. thanks,.........try to help me too by rate........

57" Mitsubishi won't power on, blinks green timer light

It is a common failure of the 57" Mits. DLP. The problem is a defective thermistor and is covered by Mits. Contact a local repair shop and they will fix it free (parts & labor)
