SOURCE: converter box
1) Connect the coax cable from the antenna to the converter box input.
2) Connect the coax cable output of converter box to the input of the VCR.
This is the only way it will work but you will have many limitations such as using the programming features of your VCR.
The boxes are fine if you want to play prerecorded DVDs or tapes. If you want to record tapes you have to leave the box on and have it set to the station you want to record.

Yes, you will need an external antenna to pull in the digital signals. It will not work with the built-in antenna on the GE. Alternately, you can use an external antenna (ie, rabbit ears), connect them to the converter box, then connect the converter box to the antenna jack on the back of the TV (I think it has one). Granted, not an elegant solution for a kitchen TV, but it beats not using it anymore.

you don,t , the xbox 360 will have component cables and posibly an hdmi output , but you can plug the component cables directly to the tv in a auxillary input and on your menu screen it will either say video1 or video2 or video 3 ,you can put the cables from your xbox into those inputs on the tv and as long as your tv is also at that input you should have a signal , hope this helps ,glenn
