Re: xerox phaser 8500 fault 37,008:44:11605 What is it?
The 37 series faults are usually due to the failure of one or more heaters in the print head. Usually a comparatively inexpensive fix if its just the electronics module(part no:119649580). You will definitely need a tech's assistance to fix it. If the printer is under warranty they XEROX should do it for you free of cost. Hope that helped.

This is a problem with your ink or ink loader. Inspect the ink to make sure it is Xerox brand and unbroken. If it appears ok. replacing the ink loader (part# 133K27711) and clearing the ISC faults will solve this. Here is a video I made that will show you how. Good luck, I hope it helps.
The onlty thing I can find close to this is.
Acording to the manual its a ink loader error like your loading the wrong type of ink like the puzzles pieces arent matching and hitting the sensor flags right. Yours by the 8 is referring to the black ink. Anyway go to troubleshooting on the control panel. then to service tools. when in service tools press and hold the up arrow while still pressing the up arrow press the down arrow. the display should say hidden menus. go to diagnostic mode press enter go to funtion menu. then go to clear ISC fault and enter. ISC=ink stick count fault. I hope that helps. Just to let you know Ive had nothing but problems with third party ink and once its in the system its hard to get out so I would watch what im doing with my expensive equipment
That is a print head calabration fault. 99 percent chance the print head has failed. That would require replacing hte print head.
That is a common problem on the 8500. Look for a dealer in your area if you want to repair is. Xerox will charge over $200 to show up and $750 for the print head.
