Miele G641 SC Plus Drain /inlet light 4 short 1 long flash. How do I find a fault code chart?

Inlet / Drain is a general fault meaning there was no water movement when it was necessary to start the pump. Either it didn\'t drain out or it didn\'t fill the last time.

Call 800-999-1360 for free Miele tech support. They will advise you free of charge. You will perform step by step control board operations over the phone to clear the fault code as well as advise you how to cleanout the drain pump.

G 646 sc pump still runs when programme is off

Hi,
I had the same problem, the drain pump kept working even on the off program. After a little investigation i found out that there is a leak sensor that triggers the drain pump continually until it does not "sense" water anymore.
Firstl i tried to open the rear panel with no success.
Next i tilted the dishwasher to the left and let all the water drain out, plugged the dishwasher back to electricity and it worked!!!
I hope it will help you.

Miele G892 SC Touctronic dishwasher, intake/Drain light came on. How do I clear the drain?

Evening to you - empty the trays out of the washer - remove bottom wash arms by pulling upwards - below tha is a steel mesh - turn the plastic handle to unlock & remove the mesh - on the left of the tub locate a steel clip - below this is the housing for the pump - unclip & lift upwards - you will get a rush of water its ok - then clean the foodstuffs etc from in here as the propeller or impellar is found - turn machine on as the machine will a;lways start with a pump run - switch off after 20-30secs - check if all clear - clean up & assemble - should be good to go...

Miele g 646 sc (not plus)

check the inlet where it joins onto the tap as mine has a fine filter and debris from the fresh water builds up. Simply remove the pipe from the tap and **** ,this should remove /dislodge any scale etc that could be causing the inlet light to come on. Make sure you spit out the water that comes back from the machine!
