SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Your password may be wrong. To rectify it, login as administrator and from the Control Panel->User Accounts delete your account and after a reboot, create it again if you have to have some accounts.

Use the Function key or Delete key to stop the machine from booting all the way, in other words, interrupt the normal process. You can try to use the "restore to the last successful boot" selection. If that doesn't work, you can re-install Windows.
What is happening is that windows wants to run the program to let you input the user/password selection and cannot start it. Maybe it cannot find it or the 'file got corrupted' standard Microsoft answer.
Personally, if find that a horrible excuse. Computers are not supposed to corrupt files willy-nilly.
Anyway, you likely have a hard drive dying slowly, and should back up any files you need from the machine ASAP, and then re-install windows.

THE GROUP POLICY CLIENT SERVICE FAILED

I wouldnt worry about it its only used on a corporate network for group policy downloads to your laptop.

If you are on a corporate network check the service dependencies in the services applet in control panel. It may be another service that has been disabled or failed that is preventing GPO client service from failing.

Slow system and errors

Try normal startup from msconfig of course Task Manager will give you some indication as to what running task/process is using much or most of the computers resource. Why did you do a Sys Restore? Anyway here is some info that might be useful to your problem... http://forums.techguy.org/networking/1069085-dependency-service-group-failed-start.html cheers.

Will not connect to wireless network Dell inspiron 1525 wii not connect to my wireless network says connecting status unknown the dependency service or group failed to start

Hi there. Try these simple steps:

Click Start, then click Run if you're using XP and type services.msc then click OK. If you're running on vista, Type services.msc on Start Search field then click the icon on top that says Services.

Double click Wireless zero configuration on XP and WLAN on Vista. click dependencies and see the services where it is dependent on.

Inside the services window, click the name where your wireless is dependent upon and click start. Check for other dependencies and start reconnecting to your wireless network.

Failed to connect services

For the Service in Vista:
Boot into Safe Mode.
Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Services> right click on System Event Notification Service> set startup mode to Automatic. Do NOT attempt to start the Service.
Make sure the Event Log Service is also on Automatic.
Reboot into Normal Mode. The Service should be started.

For the Event Viewer in Vista:

Please observe the same guidelines for reporting: ignore Warnings, only one copy of recurring identical error.
Copy button is on lower left. newquote.gif

WMI Has encountered a problem and needs to close

Symptom
When you attempt to start the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service, you may receive the following error message, and the service does not start:
Could not start the windows management instrumentation service on local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start

Resolution
First, verify the number of dependencies attached to the WMI service. This can be viewed by running the following command from Start, Run:
CMD /K SC QC WINMGMT

The output should exactly as given below.
[SC] GetServiceConfig SUCCESS
SERVICE_NAME: winmgmt
TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS
START_TYPE : 2 AUTO_START
ERROR_CONTROL : 0 IGNORE
BINARY_PATH_NAME : C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs
LOAD_ORDER_GROUP :
TAG : 0
DISPLAY_NAME : Windows Management Instrumentation
DEPENDENCIES : RPCSS
SERVICE_START_NAME : LocalSystem
*See attachment*

The only dependency is the RPCSS service, and it does run by default whenever you start Windows. If you have any other dependencies listed, then it may be the causing the problem. To remove the additional Dependencies, follow this:

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Before you modify the registry, backup the registry key by exporting the corresponding branch. Also, see here to learn how to perform a complete registry backup.

Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
Navigate to the following location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\winmgmt
Double-click DependOnService, and set it's Value data to RPCSS

Close Regedit and restart Windows

If this fails, you will need to do a repair installation..

Hope this will be helpfull

Thanks & Regards

"error starting the service Backup Exec & media service"

This is most likely caused by a change in the user acount password that you created the profile with. Under network select Logon account Managment. in here you will see the accounts that you used to login to the Domain. (AD) Consider setting up separate accounts (backup, etc) for these services & scheduled jobs, rather than using the admin or personal accounts. This way you can still change the admin account password on a regular basis & maintain security, but not have to go the hassle of updating all of these at each change. You may also opt to set these specific accounts so that the passwords do not expire automatically so that you do not have to deal with that scenario.
