SOURCE: panasonic model SA-HT740

Most F61 code failures are caused by a defective output ic.If all speakers are disconnected and F61 still comes up the IC is 100% bad.Needs to be serviced. Not an issue that can be fixed by homeowner.

Try shorting across this fuse protector IP1280 (looks like a resistor) on the power board. See more detailed solution I posted in this forum for a similar question.4a63623.jpg

Why does my Panasonic SA-BT300 automatically switch from bd/DVD to aux

It depends what you have connected to those inputs. Some devices will send out switching signals to switch to the setting. It could be that you have specified at one point that a device connected to receiver should play back via the aux setting.

If however it randomly switches to that setting with nothing connected, nobody pressing a remote (anywhere in the house), nothing that could cause the switch, then it could be a fault, possibly an IC failure.

The system has a locked / unlocked toggle sequence on the main unit by holding down stop (or Play) and then tapping the power button. Use this sequence lock or unlock the DVD / CD drawer.
