Hey there, i dont know what happened with my Olympus camera, but whenever i put the memory card into it it will turn on but freeze (ex: the screen will just go black but the lens expands) if i take out the...

Brutal, it sounds as if you are or were formatting and "cleaning out the card" on the computer. If this is a correct assumption then you need to back up a little and reformat the memory card to the camera. If you have no luck your really have it corrupted as in you may have disconnected the feel without first shutting off the card transfer. If you were in the computer this may have been called a safely remove hardware or simply eject. Two folders eh? Sounds like what Canon does when it reaches 100 pictures it creates a new folder. Anyway if you feel that you disconnected the file transfer or the camera ran out of power then my suggestion is first see if you can open the card on the computer. Either through a card reader (which is the most preferred way) or by using the camera, once on the computer format the memory card once this is done do a safe shut down and disconnect. Then format the memory card again but in the camera. Another "if" if you removed the memory card to insert into a card reader it is possible that the memory card lock switch was activated. IF you were using an SD card in an XD holder adapter here is a diagram of that switch BUT if you were just using an XD card this lock theory is not applicable.

Recap I know this sounds complicated but it not really, in short I would like your to format the memory card in the computer then again in the camera I believe your problem will be solved.

I need to install the sounds of my pc but i dont know how to do it .thanks..

Hi, Disconnect all power to your PC. Open up the cover your PC (CPU) and find spare connection on *********** ( beside your VGA / video card). If you see a spare, you can install your card there. If you found cover with screw, remove it accordingly. Place your sound card on female adapter securely.Check if there is output audio wires from your cd rom and connect to your sound card. Close the PC cover. Power on your PC. If you have external active speaker, connect it out to sound card audio output. Now you supposed to can play your PC with sound card.

My Dell Inspiron 1420 laptop integrated webcam doesn't produce sound while I can hear it by using earbuds.

Your speakers cable may be disconnected or the sound card is defective.
this will need a tech to determine by dis-assembly and testing the sound card.

Need to remove an old sound card from an acer aspire e360

If it is actually a sound card and not an onboard sound card then it is easy. Power down the unit, disconnect the network plugin as well as the monitor. What you are doing is removing possible static electric or voltage spikes in the system which can short out the motherboard, so anything that is or has a plugin on your system, meaning usb as well unplug. Once you have done that then all that remains is the screw in the back of the case and the side panel should come off. Once that is open you will be able to see the sound card. Remove the screw holding the sound card in place then the sound card. Once done insert a blank into the place where the sound card was and button everything back up and reconnect all the devices again and you should be good to go

I have no sound can you help on this

You never mentioned if you are using a built in on your motherboard or a sound card hardware...

Anyways... If you are using a built in sound card, make sure it is enable on your CMOS/BIOS setup.. And you have installed the right driver for your sound card from the cd driver of your motherboard...

And if you are using a pci sound card, please check if its properly seated on the motherboard (better if you disconnect the sound card from the motherboard... clean its contact point... and insert it properly on the motherboard)...See the model of your sound card... download the latest driver from the internet and install it.
If this still did not work, better check on the device manager if the sound card is properly installed, if its not it should have a yellow question mark attached to the sound/multimedia devices..

You can also check if windows xp keeps on detecting windows compatible sound first, shutdown your computer.. disconnect your sound card from the motherboard...turn on computer..Right click on My Computer and click properties...Select Hardware and click Device Manager...on the View menu click devices by type...double click the "sound, video and game controllers"....if you don't see from the list the model of your sound card, then try disabling or uninstalling the listed audi driver and or multimedia devices..shutdown your computer..

Now connect your sound card to your motherboard.. turn on the computer..System will detect and add new hardware for your sound card.... install the driver... restart your computer and hear if it makes a log on sounds..

Hope this instruction help you.

Much appreciated if you rate this solution.. thanks..
