I just got the washer today and it didn't come with a manual. I got it at the Sears outlet and it said it was new but had scratches and no manual. I put the 1st load in and it went just fine. I put the second load in and it filled to the top with water, stopped, and displayed LF on the screen. I pushed stop 2x's to cancel the cycle and then just had it spin the loal out. It finfished the load but now I'm afraid to do another load. What does LF stand for and why did it fil to the top? Help!!

I have now got the manual for the Kenmore Elite washer and dryer coming in by mail. I had gone to the local Sears store and then to the service center close to home. The service center was able to find the manuals and order them for me.
Today (4/3/09) I got a letter from Sears. They will replace the
electronic control board (you know, the F-51 business) for FREE, in
warranty or not. Serial #s for the Bad Board begin: CS48 - CS52 or
CT01-CT49. Call Sears at 800-847-9083. The voices of all of us have
finally been heard! There is a class action attorney firm in San
Francisco looking into a legal remedy.
You can check out outlet like sears or scratch and dent..(it there is one in your area) they come w/a 1yr warranty... where if you buy one from people you have to know what you are getting.. if you paid 150 for one w/no warranty.. the outlet I see them for around 250 for a deceit unit.. good luck..
take your outlet pipe and place into a bucket so that it is low to the ground if water comes out then it could be that your pump is faulty when the water has all drained away the pressure switch will reset itself and the lid will now open if no water comes out un-clamp your outlet pipe from your pump if then water comes out then your pipe will be blocked m8
Jenine, I have run into this problem on a few of the Oasis washers. In talking to the Whirlpool tech rep (Whirlpool makes the Oasis), I was under the understanding that they had some issues with the initial main board supplied in these washers causing the F code. Therefore, in changing this washer out, you probably received one in stock with the same board. What I would do, since it's under warranty is to have the technician order a board from the factory. Any revisions to the new board should be in there. As long as you have both water valves on, no clogged screens on the hoses and 120 volts at the outlet your washer should operate normally.
