Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
I have a sansa 250 mp3 player. i recently just got a new computer. as i tried to download music onto my mp3 player a message kept popping up saying that i have to install new hardware. it tried to install something called mtp for my sansa. then it said that it would not be able to install because i do not have the installation cd. i did not need the installation cd when i first got this mp3 player. what do i do if i do not have the installation cd?
there i just downloaded the software from the site... enjoy :D

If you are using Vista OS the driver for samsa mp3s are not present in the system.. you need to call the manufacturer and have them send you a hotfix link...
same thing happened to me i have a Sansa 2GB clip which i received from our christmas party at work... my excitement turned into frustration when i found out that it is not compatible with the new laptop that i purchase because it has Vista OS in it...
they sent me this Hot fix link and after downloading.. it finally worked with my windows media player

The drivers for the sansa would be coming from your windows media player software and also your operating system. The minimum system requirements of the player are windows xp with wmp 11 or 10 and vista with 11. Downloading the appropriate version of windows media player would help with this issue. if not download the mtp porting off the microsoft.com site.

SOURCE: my sansa 250 mp3 player
the only thing that you have to do is that when they send you that message don't click yes. But you also have to go to www.sandisk.com so you can download the software for your sansa. Hope this helped find the solution for your issue!!
