Question about D-Link DIR-600 Router
When i connect wifi devices to the router Dir-600, the connection was setup and i am able to see the link but there is no connection to the webpages . its says connection lost or very slow. It was happening often and often. I tried to reset the router but still the problem exits. Where as the LAN connection was good.
I had this issue also. If rebooting the router does not improve or trying a new cable between your router and internet modem, you will have to do a factory reset. You can do this by logging into the router and selecting factory reset by locating a small hole on the back of your router, insert the tip of a paper clip for about 10 seconds with he power on, and this will reset your router to factory settings and of course you will have to set-up everything from scratch.
Maybe do a firmware update at the same time.
Usually you can login on your browser to you router and go to the management section to check for firmware updates and select that button and it will download and install the firmware. On some models, you have to go to the D-link web site and look for firmware updates for your router. Always check what you current firmware you have installed and check the version of you router modem (A, B, C etc). Then you can manually download the firmware (usually in a ZIP file), open the zip file, and then using your browser connected to the router look for Update Firmware. You will have to go to where (folder) you saved the downloaded update and select that file. It is recommended that you update using a LAN connection and not a wireless connection.

- Logon to the configuration page of your D-Link.
- Go to Advanced tab
- And Click on Firewall Settings on the left side
- Under that look for Application Gateway Level at the bottom and you must uncheck at the box on it and click on save settings at the top.

I would suggest you try to change the channel to a higher one and this solves this problem most of the times...You need to go to your router configuration to do that usually by opening a browser and type 192.168 ... and log in into your router...Hope this helps.
