Question about Ovens
The bulb in the oven has blown but we are unable to remove the glass cover
I went out and bought a 4 inch strap wrench from LOWE's. I had never heard of one before. After figuring out from the diagram how to use it, I wrapped it around the glass bulb cover and did a counterclockwise twist and off it came. P.S. I'm a girl so I feel pretty good about that project

Switch power off first, get a pair of pliers or grips and wrap a cloth round the jaws of same, then grip the bulb cover with the grips and try to unscrew it that way, do not put too much pressure on glass, as you may break it.
Plz rate my solution.
