I'm using OSX v.10.6.8 and have 3 printers connected: Laserjet 1300, Officejet G85, Photosmart C4280. I can only get one to work, then have to uninstall, then reinstall a new driver to get one of the others to work. Is there a way I can easily switch from one printer to the next without continually reinstalling, and setting up, etc.?

Power off printer, disconnect all leads such as USB, network, etc and power on again.
Does it power on to the normal state?
Are there any messages on the control panel or light patterns (eg off, on, flashing etc)?
SOURCE: Using JETCET Print with OKI C5200n Printer
The OKI 5200 is a 'GDI' or Windows only printer and does not support PCL or PostScript languages.
Most if not all of the printers listed support either PCL or PS or an inkjet based language.
I'm afraid you will not be able to print the the 5200 without it's driver loaded on the PDA.
If the 5200 supported PCL you would be able to choose any of the
Color HP Deskjets.

HP does not currently have software or driver downloads available for your product for that operating system.
So we and you can't do anything to run this printer on your Mac Laptop.
I hope this help you lot.
Please rate the solution.

Finally, reconnected with the printer after trying different driver downloads, deleting everything, changing different options on the printer installation...

I resolved this by going to "tools" -> "Clean Print Head".
