Question about Computers & Internet
If you reset your "pin"/security key, doesn't work anymore. Depending on the Make of the wireless device, you didn't mention, you use a default, say "admin", for instance, with no "pin"/security key.

SOURCE: IP address
I would guess that your ISP is providing a dynamic IP address for connectivity to the internet. If your router is changing the IP address back to default, I would think that your configuration is not setup properly, to receive a dynamic address, but is set with a static address instead. So what happens is that when you attempt to connect to your ISP your router is resetting. If this is the case then you need to go into the router configuration and set it to recieve a dynamic address from your ISP.

SOURCE: router password
Before following this procedure beware that the reset function on the router will probably reset the entire configuration to the factory original. You will probably need to completely reconfigure your router after the reset including WAN side IP address or dynamic and possibly PPPoE userid and password if required by your ISP.
click on the following link
select your region and country
Select Choose a Product
Enter your product or navigate to it.
Download your user guide.
It should have instructions for resetting the router as well as reconfiguring the router.

if you havnt changed the password to the router then it should either be "PASSWORD" "ADMIN" "ADMINASTRATOR" in the worst case senreio you may have to reset the router.

You can reset the router by following below steps, this will automatically bring you to set password:
1. Find the reset hole which is placed in back of the router.
2. Place a pin or pen tip on the reset hole and press the pin (Must do this while the router is in ON state and as well is in OFF state)
3. Then connect your router through ethernet port to computer.
4. Configure new password to the router.
Most probably the router IP address is 192.168.1.1
Please try this steps and provide your valuable feedback.
