Question about Fisher Paykel EcoSmart GWL15

Power button on GWL15 has issues

Its become difficult to push the power button ... you have to press and press and press and eventually the washer turns on. All other buttons work, this one seems to have a connection problem. Suggestions for getting it fixed/replaced?

You will need to get a new tac switch installed into the display board
and put some clear packing tape over the crack on the decal to stop water getting in again and wetting the new switch.

PTT button on RDV 2020 is hard to push

This problem is typically caused by small component behind the PTT button being cracked or broken. The RDX series radios respond best if the user presses the PTT button in the center versus the top or bottom sections of the button. Once the button becomes hard to press it is best to get the radio repaired. Commonly if the radio remains in use the PTT issue will get worse as the internal PTT component is pressed harder, pushing it further away from the outside button and eventually loosening it from the component board.

Best regards.

No power press power button blinking red battery light

If it is not taking a charge your power adapter is loose. To confirm this press on the cord where it plugs into your laptop and continuously press the power button if it powers up thats your problem. You may need to press the cord at various angles before you get it to power up push it in and pull to the left, then the right, up, down and so forth.
If this is your issue you can temparly fix it by using duct tape once you find the right position for the cord that will work for awhile but you will need to get it soldered eventually. If you know someone who knows how to solder ask them if they will do it for if not the repair will be approx. $100

Fisher and Paykel EcoSmart GWL15 Machine won't agitate or spin - two yellow lights come on, and machine beeps every second or so. This happens even with the power off.

It sounds like you need to re programme the machine.
With the machine plugged into the wall and turned on and the headset turned off this is what you do.
Push and hold down the start button, while doing that you need to then push and hold down the power button.
Hold them down for about 5 seconds, during which time you may a series of up to 3 beeps.
Then release the buttons.
Turn the machine off and then on again followed by the start button. Allow the machine to then run the complete cycle.
This should correct your problem, if this doesn't then you may need to then look at replacing the computer panels.

No power washer will not work

Sounds like a control board failure, sparks are never a good thing. Better to get a serviceman look at it unless you are an electrician and can do an insulation test after working on it.
