a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

First of all check the minimum requirements(hardware , like RAM , processer etc.) to install the software .
Second , check are you logged in with the administrator rights.
Third , check if camera software is compatible with your current operating system.
I hope it will help.

In my case the LifeCam 2.07 installation problems on Win XP SP3 were
related to Microsoft .NET Framework. Figured this out by looking into
the temporary directories LifeCam installation creates - it seemed like
it was repeatedly extracting and trying to install .NET 3.0 without
success. Fixed this by installing .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and all
following updates from Windows Update first. Then the LifeCam
installation worked fine.

SOURCE: Lifecam NX-6000 with Skype
When Skype uses the Lifecam, an icon named "Microsoft LifeCam Dashboard"(it looks like a round blue button) shows up in the System Tray (lower right corner of the desktop). Click the icon to pop up the dashboard.
