you can not transfer the apps that are installed as they have been installed into the phones memory ? you can download the full app onto the card then install onto the phone. ( when an app is installed into the phone it needs "bits" of the phones software to run so its "sort of " all in small parts scattered all over the phones memory ) a downloaded app is a complete all in one program,it only gets sent all over when installed... only way to save room is to "uninstall" some apps
Your Xperia x8 would be saving texts and whatever else is downloaded with your phone onto the phone memory instead of the memory card, which is why it's saying the phone memory is full. Clear out some of your text messages and files you don't need to free up extra space.
Your messages are saved in your phone memory & not on the memory card. You need to install PC suite now companion on your PC which is available on sony ericsson website & usb cable. Forget about the CD. The needed software are there on the website.
go to message settings and select memory card where the messages will be saved..phone will ask if you want to move the messages from the phone to the memory card..
You need to copy all your files from your memory card onto your pc, then format the memory card in the phone using them menu. Then copy all of your files back into the correct folders that the phone has created on your memory card.
According to the instructions that came with the camera, it states that a maximum of 256 mb memory card is allowed. So, 1G amd 2G memory cards won't work. Like you, I bought a 2G memory card, getting the same message that the card was full so when I checked the manual, I saw my mistake. Live and Learn! I should have checked the manual BEFORE I bought this card. Now I have to go out and buy the 256 mb memory card (and I'll save the 2G card for a new camera that I hope to buy in the future).[email protected]
