SOURCE: No water pressure in kitchen sink. Not the aerator.

First of all we like to check the easy/cheap things first.

1. Are the shut-off valves closed lightly?

If they are closed, open them.....easiest fix of them all.

2. If the valves are open then possibly a washer is shifted.

Turn off the water supply at the valves under the sink. Remove the handles by removing the set screw under the handles. There should then be a packing nut which holds all of the "guts" of the faucet in. Remove this nut and pull out the long stem. On the bottom of this stem is a flat washer that may have been damaged or is just slightly shifted. EIther way, I would replace it if the faucet is more then a few years old as it is cheap and you already have access to it. WHen replacing the valve stem, be sure to use a plumbers grease on all rings and seals. The rest of the replacement is the same are the removal.

Hope this helps.

Faucet will not swivel

if your faucet is new....the spout was put together wrong and it needs to be removed and re-attached correctly...(friction washer/ring in wrong position).....if not new....spray some penetrating oil on the connection that is supposed to swivel....make sure the surface is dry and try to avoid overspray. let it sit for 15 min...then spray it again...and again let it sit ....after sitting for a few minutes.....gently try to move the spout side to side...if no change...repeat the first processs...and continue to repeat until it becomes moveable....once moveable....detach the spout.....dry out and remove any foreign matter from the connection side on the faucet...then apply a small amount of faucet grease to the connection threads and the inside barrel....a thin even coat ...excess grease will clog your aerator...don't use too repeat the cleaning and lubricating process on the removed spout connector....reassemble.....remove aerator....turn on the water and flush....replace the aerator....turn water on full blast....check for leaks and for should swivel now ....if not...loosen the connection nut a tad and try again....if still no are missing a friction ring somewhere in the connection and it needs to be replaced before you will be able to swing the spout.....good luck...

How do you remove the spout cap (RP34090) from a 2 handle delta 2402 kitchen faucet? The spout cap is stuck.

If you are talking about the aerator at the end of the spout, take a pair of pliers and a rag put the rag on the aerator and turn counter clockwise(take care to make sure rag is covering all the area and that should help you get it off.If you plan on replaceing aerator which is about $6 just take the pliers and take it off.

I have a brand new moen muirfield high arc faucet with low pressure at spout but good pressure at side spray what can i do to get better pressure at spout

The design of a hand sprayer is meant to provide a higher pressure spray (the smaller outlet size means greater velocity in the water coming out of the sprayer head). That said, there could be something constricting the water flow in your faucet. If you unscrew the aerator on the end of the faucet do you get better pressure? Is the screen in the aerator clogged with sediment or mineral deposits? If this is the case you may have water requiring periodic cleaning of the aerator.

Hope this helps.

Water just trickles out of tap

The problem most likely is a clogged aerator. That is the part that sticks out of the faucet that the water comes out of. You need to unscrew it, take it apart, and then remove any particles that are inside. Sometimes the easiest solution is to buy a new aerator at a hardware store. Take the old one in to make sure you get one that will fit.
Before replacing the aerator, run the faucet without it for a minute or so to clear out any remaining debris.
Unscrewing the aerator: Looking down on the faucet from above the sink, turn the aerator (which will be on the far side of the faucet) clockwise to remove it. You may have to grab it (carefully) with a pair of pliers. Close the drain before you do this so you don't loose any parts down the drain.

Remove water saver device from Blanco Grace kitchen faucet

Remove the aerator at the end of the spout. It will unscrew and once off it will have a dime sized restricter in it that can be removed this restrict's the water down to about 1.6 gpm to save water.
It will either be plastic or metal and about the size of a dime with a small holw in it to let water pass by maybe 1/8" hole just remove it and put aerator back together.

Clean aerator screen out before you put it back together. This link has a breakdown of parts. Look at parts 8b-10 for aerator breakdown.

The pressure in my Delta faucet is suddenly low. The pressure throughout the rest of the house is fine. What is wrong? I replaced several pieces of the faucet but nothing worked.

Take the hoses off on the bottom of the faucet and blow air back through the faucet. Dirt can plug up the small openings right where the water enters the faucet. By the way I hope you checked the areator on the end of the spout, Dirt can plug that up also.
