Question about Acer Aspire Computers & Internet
After upgrading my windows7 premium to windows7 ultimate my screensaver has been deleted from my system. Where can I find a link to download this screensaver?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

have you tried going into safe mode ?
To go into safe mode press f8 after the boot screen (one with computer/make logo)
after pressing f8 you should then get a menu
select safe mode with networking
then you can try activating it so that it removes the 30 day limit
or you can uninstall it
or the upgrade ultimate may just be a trial
is the key # somewhere in the package ?
Its usually under laptop (but thats probably the home premium #)
you can try using the upgrade ultimate or home premium disc and selecting repair/recover on the menu then select system restore and try restoring to an early point

SOURCE: Hello Sir, I purchased Acer
The problem is with your Windows Boot file "bot.ini file" This file can become damage, corrupted or deleted for a number of reaons, (here seems the installation of Fedora 12) and id usually brought to your attention to by an error message befoe booting windows, the same message you are facing. there are two ways of removing it. 1-You can format your OS and re install it. or 2- repair your windows using the windows OS Cd.

SOURCE: I want to upgrade bios
I would suggest updating the bios to the latest version which is f24a which can be found here (as well as the rest of the drivers) be VERY VERY sure that this is the exact machine you have as updating with the wrong bios will "brick" you computer. this should fix the issue you are having. if after updating the bios you still have problems, go to the laplink website and read the minimum requirements to run the program, especially the version of windows it normally runs on. then right click on the install program and choose troubleshoot compatability in the menu. when the wizard pops up choose the second choice option, troubleshoot compatability ... mark the first and third check boxes then click next... in that window choose the operating system it is normal run under. after you have done that and clicked next ... start the install by running the program. if after you have done that and the program works fine save the compatability settings and exit the wizard.
