Lost manual cant replace the ink cartridges

you can usually open the front of your printer and just pull out the cartridges, they will snap out, just replace in the same direction as you took out. You could do one at a time so you won't get mixed up as to where they go. You can also go online and download your printer manuel, just look for the model and make and you should get one online. All printers are different but there is either a button on the side or front or you just lift cover. The printer cartridges will appear. You may have a lid over the ink jet cartridges. Unlatch it and replace cartridge. Laser cartridges you usually just pull evenly and they will come out.

1. Look at the indicator light on your Lexmark printer. You'll need to replace ink cartridges when the light flashes or turns red instead of the standard green.

   Purchase Lexmark ink cartridges. You can buy the brand name or purchase a generic version that is compatible with your printer. You can shop for low cost ink cartridges from ABC Ink.
   
3. Step 3 Remove the old cartridges from your printer. Grip the sides of the Lexmark ink cartridges and pull it out. Dispose of the ink cartridges in a recycle program like the one at Staples or save the cartridges for refill.
   
4. Step 4 Install the new ink cartridges after removing the protective tabs. Avoid touching the IC chip when installing the new Lexmark ink cartridges. Replace the cover of the printer.
   
5. Step 5 Allow the Lexmark printer to run a nozzle test. Print several pages with the new ink cartridges to make sure you installed the ink cartridges correctly. The indicator light should return to a solid green color.

Go to www.lexmarkz2300.com. There will be instruction on how to replace the cartidges. you will b e able to print out the instructions after you fix the problem.

cannot change ink. Turn on, and just unplug power when cartridge is moving. cartridge will stop not in parking position. Just move head by hand to replacement position.
