SOURCE: set up of a Microsoft wireless keyboard & mouse

The devices probably came with a USB cable and a receiver, or just a USB equiped receiver, that you need to plug into your computer. Go ahead and plug the cable and receiver into the computer so that your wireless mouse and keyboard has a means to communicate with the computer. Next, Here is a website address where you can download drivers for your mouse and keyboard. You must first choose either mouse or keyboard, then the exact product and model, then the operating system, and finally the language. repeat the process for the other device (mouse or keyboard, whichever you did not choose first). Good Luck! And let me know if there are any further problems.

You are out of luck. The keyboard and dongle are paired up at the factory and are designed so that the dongle will not communicate with other keyboards otherwise could you imagine the confusion in a classroom with 30 of the same model of keyboard being used?

How to connect a microsoft mouse to a microsoft 1447 dongle

The thw wireless mouse is paired from fabric wirh USB dongle for same mouse. You can't connect a wireless keyboard to it because they are no different frequency. Actually it's hightly improbable that you even could connect the USB dongle of a mouse with another different mouse. Explanations is logical: presumeyou are in a big office whate another 1 users have wireless keyboards or "mice". Now, imaginge the mess if the dongle of your keyboard should control the mouse of another 9 usrs.
Now, it's competely different with bloetooth keyboards and"mice"

How do I connect a Microsoft wireless keyboard 6000

I believe this model needs a receiver plugged into a usb port for it to work. Plug the dongle into a free usb and install the software if XP. Or if Win 7 it will find and install the software on its own.

HP 8159URF Wireless Keyboard Dongle lost! How can i use it?

Unless you can find not only the exact part number but a dongle with the exact same serial number its not possible.Having the same issue.I say shame on HP for creating this issue by not wanting to sell type specific replacements to resolve this problem. They would prefer that you buy an entire new set. Good Luck.
