Hey,

sounds bad,
start with this page http://www.fixya.com/support/r561901-ipod_problems_start_5_solutions

in the end theres the warranty checking page.

if noting helps on the page use the last option - warranty assistant to check your warranty and get repairs.

Thanks,
Ekse

IPOD8GB WILL NOT COME ON/CHARGE

Connect the Ipod to the PC and if this is not detected then test on another PC before we can confirm that the ipod has errors within and must be referred. If not the memory must be scanned, remove files if they are corrupt , reload only if the ipod after reset switches on to work.

There isn't a "manual" as such but have a look at the Appl iPod Touch site: http://www.apple.com/suppot/ipodtouch That is the official iPod Touch site, hope that helps :)

Ipod8gb it will not come on at all. i hooked it to computer to check it's charge , it stated that the ipod was corrupt. what do i do .

You may have 2 different problems going on here, but try the ipod reset procedure first. 1) slide the hold switch to "hold" then to off, 2) press and hold the menu and center (select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (about 6 to 8 seconds). You may need to repeat this step.

If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

If it resets, see if it will play. Then reconnect it to your computer and determine if it is still listed as corrupt.

Instructions for fixing a corrupt ipod can be found here.

Hope this helps!

Sansa Doesnt Charge

You tried everything that could be done. There is an internal component that is defective that will not allow ANY battery to keep a charge. Find out from Sansa if you are still in warranty.
