Who would be the dealership for a saturn 2000 ls ,i bought it used and radio needs code

Saturn is a GM product, take it to any Chevy dealer and they should be able to help you. Although, if the previous owner left the car manual in the glove box then the factory unlock code should be there, unless they previous owner changed the code then the dealer will have to reset it.

2000 saturn radio is locked. how do i unlock

1.) To begin, if your radio is displays LOC, then proceed to step 2. If your radio says INOP, then turn your ignition to the RUN position, and turn the radio ON. You must leave it like this for a minimum of 1 hour (not 59 minutes) to clear the INOP message. I would wait 1 1/2 hours just in case doing it too early causes the timer to start over.

2.) Turn your ignition to RUN (if not already), and your radio to OFF. Press and hold preset buttons 2 and 3 for around 5-10 seconds to obtain a scrambled version of your radio's original factory set code.

3.) Call a GM dealer with this code. Tell them you are with a local shop i.e. I am Joe with Good Year Highway Tire; Then tell them: We have a 2000 Saturn SL we just changed a battery in and the radio is now locked. My mechanic pulled the pre-code. Could you give me the code? This usally works at no charge.

Once you have the code write it down. Keep atleast 2 copies. Hope this helps!

Need to unscrabble my radio code and get unlocked

Would need to remove the radio and call GM to unlock. There is a code on the top or bottom of the radio you need to give them. Also if you are not the original owner look in owners manual to see if is written in there. Factory code is 12345 try entering this as if was never changed you should be able to unlock with this. I think the 3 and 4 preset bottons are the up and down to get to the #'s. Thanks

Unlock 2000 ls2 saturn radio

well the only way to unlock the radio is this,,,there is a 4 digit code stored in the radio you need to get it from the radio, you must press and hold radio preset buttons 1 and 2 for 5 seconds and then a 4 digit code will appear, write down that code and respond to me so i can get you the unlock code,,only dealers can get the unlock code,i need to call saturn with that code thats in the radio to get you the unlock code, and then you enter the unlock code and you good to go,,,or you can take it to saturn and they may or may not do it for you for free,,but if you want just get back to me with the unlock code

Cannot unlock the radio

Your local saturn dealer can get the code for you. You will need the VIN and the number on the radio.

Radio unlock

You can just go to a dealer and they will know what the code is. Some cars have a sticker of the code in the glove box or owners manual.

Hi how are you I have a 1996 Saturn SL the radio is asking for a lock code

Unfortunetly, you will need to go to your local GM dealer and have them get the code and unlock the radio, and of course they will charge for it. The anti-theft lock activated on the radio, either cause it was improperly removed, or the battery has been unplugged or drained for too long. And to get the code, you need the car with you to prove it's not some stolen radio you are trying to get up and running, and then they will need to call the GM support center with their dealer code so that GM will give them the code to unlock it. I know it sucks, but there is no other way unfortunetly. Some VW and Honda owners also have the same problem as you so don't worry you're not alone. Although, if you want to fix the problem once and for all, just take the radio out of there and replace it with an aftermarket unit like a Sony, Pioneer, Alpine or whatever. That way the radio will never ask you for a code like that again since it won't be the OEM radio, and you will also usually have a better sound with an aftermarket unit.

Radio Unlock

The dealer has the unlock code on file. Call with the serial number on hand and they will give you the 4 digit code.

Delco factory radio display is saying loc

There is a code. This usually happens when the battery dies, when you disconnect the radio or disconnect the battery. Unfortunately only the dealer or delco repair shop can unlock it.
have a great day!
