this kind of issue is usually caused by either a logic fault or an issue on the main board.
Look for a defaulting switch on the board. remove ALL power, press and hold the switch and restore power, this should default the board back to factory settings. You will have to reprogram the system so take note of what areas are assigned to what zones..
Make sure the power pack is supplying the correct voltage too, check on the pack for its output and make sure the same supply voltage is reaching the board.
Also, check for blown or damaged fuses as the keyad should have its own fuse, check these electrically - looking to see if the fuse is damaged is not sufficient, check to make sure it has continuity with a multimeter and be careful if you try using a normal test probe as these can cause issues with digital circuitory.

2yrs old. Went thru 3 sets of batteries to get 20 pictures. Dead again. What`s the story?

Sounds like you have a short in the wiring. This is repair shop stuff, or buy a new camera time. Usually, if it is a point and shoot , it is not worth sending for repair as you'll playas much as a new camera is worth. I would look for a new camera, personally. Good luck.

Change code combination

Setting the Combination
1. Remove the key holder from the KeySafe by pressing the RESET button, followed by the OPEN button. Pull down on the key holder from the bottom of the KeySafe
2. Remove the bracket. Press the Release tab on the bracket and slide the KeySafe upward until it is free of the bracket.
3. Remove the plastic card attached to the bracket. You will see ten numbered buttons with arrows. These numbers correspond to the numbered buttons on the front of the KeySafe. An up arrow indicates that the button is not selected, a down arrow indicates that the button
is selected as part of the combination.
4. Using the screwdriver tip on the plastic card, apply light pressure
to rotate the arrows on the buttons you've selected for your combination a half-turn to the downward position until it snaps into place. Caution: The arrows must either point up or down, with downward arrows representing the numbers in your combination. If any arrow is pointing left, right, or is not fully seated when turned downward, the combination will not work. Improperly setting the combination is not covered under the warranty.
5. Return the plastic card to the bracket for future use

You need the see the Honda dealer for the radio security code. It is not public info and we have no access to the factory vehicle data base.

Battery went dead and now with the new battery instaled the radio will not come on. someone suggested a security code may be needed

If the radio requires a security code it will display code with - - - or - - - - so either a 3 digit or 4 digit code will be required, does it do this or does it not even power on?

Electrical Problem - dead battery

Sounds to me like you may need a new rectifier put in the alternator,a shorted diode in the alternator could be powering up things that should go dead with the key in the off position. To prove this, instead of pulling the fuse, take the plug out of the alternator and if all is well, you have your answer.

Even with new batteries and they go dead before I take 3 pictures

Yes, there is definitely a fault with your camera.  You should be able to return it for a replacement.  I wouldn't experiment too much with batteries in this camera. batteries discharging this quickly are likely to overheat, causing unmentionable catastrophe.

I have just replaced the battery and tried to shoot a picture and the battery went dead!

camera circuit has a problem. if the camera had liquid damage it's not repairable.
if impact damage it may be repairable if not too damaged. about the only thing you can do is check the battery compartment and clean if necessary.
