Tecnik TKH 3585 cast iron right side pan support required
Where / from whom, in the United Kingdom can I order a replacement part. The right side cast iron pan support for my Tecnik TKH 3585 4 burner gas hob shattered when accidently dropped. All I have been told by the original sellers of the hob is that I would have to buy a complete new hob at £175!! Someone must sell the parts.

magnetic gradeI have a SCHOTT Ceran glass ceramic cooktop as well, and soon realized that induction cooktops like this require that your metal cookware be in contact with the surface for them to heat up. Best cookware:
Cast iron pans
Any black metal pans
Stainless steel pans, if base is magnetic grade (magnet sticks to bottom)
Interesting, I'm looking for a solution to a similar issue. Our new (7 month old) 30'' Wolf Range has this issue. When both front burners are light, the back burner's electronic starter begins to click, but only when you put a pan on the front left burner. I believe the iron/steel in the pan is causing a magnetic field thats starting the rear burner to go off.. just don't know.. will report back after the repair person comes.
Try soaking in hot soapy water that you've dropped several denture cleaning tablets in. That's helped me get some tough stuff off, or at least loosened up enough that some elbow grease and a scrubbie can finish off the job.
Put them in the oven and run the self clean cycle
Oven cleaner. That stuff is second only to industrial grade hydrogen peroxide
you CAN use the skillet, but not with great results id assume, it holds too much heat, and problaby a bit too rough underneath and would probably scratch the glass top, in a family business for over 20 yrs. now and thats my recomendation, my brother also in the same feild swears his wife uses it with no issues!!!
