Question about Casio CFX-9850G Plus Calculator

I cant find the PROB button?

I have a math book that uses examples to work on with the casio cfx 9850 plus. The book says press PROB and i cant find it???
Hope someone can help me out?

Their use depends on the application you are using. You press a function key to activate the TAB that is above it (at the bottom of the screen.)

Where is the factor symbol ! on this calculator?

In Run screen, enter the number whose factorial you want to calculate ( number can be at most equal to 69), press [OPTN][F6] to get to next page of menus.

For factorials
  • Press then [F3](PROB) then [F1] (x!) followed by [EXE].
For combinations
  • Press then [F3](PROB) then[F3][nCr][EXE]
For permutations
  • Press then [F3](PROB) then[F2][nPr][EXE]

The F buttons on my Casio 9850 aren't working!

You can use the hardware resetting procedure. There is a button on the back of calculator that you can press using a straightened paper clip.

Generating random numbers

Turn calculator ON, press MENU if you see no icons. Use arrow key to highlight the RUN application. Press OPTN, press F6 to pan right. Press F3: Prob, then F4:Ran# then EXE to execute.

Each time you press EXE a new random number is generated. You might want to fix the number of decimal digits to less than the 10 digits displayed by default.

By default number generated are between 0 and 1. If you want numbers between 0 and 100 you enter Ran#(100).

The calculator wont recognise the blue funtion buttons (1-6)

Clear the ram:

Casio fx-9750GA can't find Ran or Int


Turn calculator on. Select [RUN] [EXE].
In run screen press [OPTN] [F6:-->] [F4:NUM] then select the function you want to use. You have ABS, Int, Frac, Rnd, Intg.

I do not no how to find P(x) on my casio. im in probability


Press [MENU] Arrow to highlight [RUN], [EXE]. In [RUN] screen press [OPTN][F6->][F3: Prob]. Available commands are accessed by the soft menu keys

How do i solve factorial problems

On the menu icon screen, highlight the Run icon. Press [OPTN][F6: ][F3:Prob] then [F1:x!].
Tu use the function you must enter the number and use [x!]
