Headphone jack on pioneer djm-600 fallen through!

The headphone jack has become loose on my djm 600 and has now fallen through into the mixer. Is it a straight clip/screw back in place or is solder needed? The part isnt too difficult to find, but if possible I'd like to use the original one.

If it's fallen inside then either it's fixing nut has become unscrewed or the thread on the socket has collapsed, see here for a replacement :-

The headphone jack broke. It is kind of pushed into the mixer. Is this repairable?

I repaired mine when that happened.... you have you unscrew all the screws on the top plare there is like 5 or 6 silver ones..Remove faders (2 volume 1 headphone) then remove the top plate. Then unscrew the the black screws on the side and front of the mixer... NOW THIS PART IS IMPORTANT..from the corners of the mixer there will be a little lifts carefully lift the top of the mixer up JUST A LITTLE BIT... have someone hold it or just rest it diagonally so you can unscrew the jack from the back MIC unless you were able to salvage the jack from the headphone if that silver and black piece are gone your going to have to borrow it from the mic... dont worry the mic will still be functional because its better set in that the headphone jack... now use the outside piece and bring the headphone component to the front where its suppose to be so you can screw the 2 back together.. then put every back together in a reverse order and you should be fine.... if you have anymore questions email me at DjAnthem222@yahoo.com

No sound coming from headphones using my dj mixer. however through speakers sounds fine. Im using 2 pioneer cdj 1000 mk3 and a djm 800. The sound works perfectly through speakers. how ever nothing through...

hii there, pls try to use another headphone on your mixer, if you get the same problem. It means your headphone have no problem. Problem is with the the jack of your mixture. Open your mixture and check the jack properly attached internal.

Playing a ipod on a djm-500

Use a male Twin Phono to 3.5mm stereo jack plug lead. The two phono connectors need to be male, so that they can plug into the red & white line sockets at the back of the DJM 500.
Are available in any audio products store.

Pioneer djm 500 trims not working properly

The rotary controls / pot's (especially "low") on DJM500's are nototious for becoming dry jointed, usually a quick resolder of the legs / connections sorts them out.

PIONEER DJM500 CHANNEL SELECT SWITCHES STUCK

take your headphone jack converters and use large converter and plug into the channel 4 submic. take cord off of basic technic stereo dh1200. detach cord and plug into ipod, then into converter and push PLAY wohooo. Music will come out of whichever assign A or assign B knob channel you set it too. If you don't know where that is. It is close to the crossfaider. This is for a DJM-500.
