Question about Sony Handycam DCR-DVD108 DVD Camcorder
How do i fix this I used my brand new Sony Handcam DVD recorder twice over xmas, then the day of videoing my daughters baptism, I switched on the camera to get the message "movie recorder disabled". The disc was never touched and worker properly prior to the baptism. Does anyone know what can cause this and can I recover the film somehow??? I really don't want to lose this video. I never got to finalise the disc either. I don't have a problem when I insert a different disc. Please can someone help.
Since this is a new camera, nothing was changed as far as the disc, it should work, has it been switched to "still" for photos, that's the message that comes up when you change it. You shouldn't have to finalize the disc before you shut off the camera, try starting it with another disc then shut it off replace it with your baptism disc and try to preview the video, if it shows you should be able to aad to it or then finalize it.
