SOURCE: warm refrigerator/freezer

very good chance it is the same problem or possibly a leak of refrigerant due to joint failing where compressor is joined to pipework

if the compressor was very hot to the touch, suspect you have a compressor fault

You could also try defrosting the unit completely.

SOURCE: GE Profile Artica Side by Side Refridgerator isn't cooling.

You say fan seems to be working? it either is or it is not working. If you are getting a reduced airflow in the cabinet, it may indicate that the evaporator coil is iced up and needs to be manually defrosted.

SOURCE: Evap fan stops running/low cooling, Unplug Frig Evap fan runs

Is there anything obstructing the fan area, ice build up ? It is normal for your freezer to get warm if evap fan is not working, it is essential for it to work :) A defrost cycle should kick on a timer or as needed (adaptive) and there should not be excessive frost buildup that it blocks your evap fan. I would have suggested you unplug your refrigerator for about 10 minutes and see if that resets your control board - if not, then you will need service - either replacing motor assembly or a faulty control board.

We just had the regrigerator installed today. It was cooling and then we put the food back in and shut the doors and the readout now on the display where the temperature is says ER and CF. The water does...

If the unit was just installed you would call for service. Error Code Er CF -The unit will receive signals from the BLDC fan motor in the freezer compartment during normal operation. If more than 65 seconds pass without a signal from the fan motor, an "Er CF" error message will be displayed. The Cooling Motor Error is usually an indication of a faulty fan motor or loose leads. Customer service should be contacted immediately. IF you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick

What does the message "Er

Hi

Error Code "Er FF" indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan.

The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue. This can be caused by frost accumulation on or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allow this to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.

Please get back to us if you have further query or else please accept the solution.

My LG display is reading ER FF what does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

Error Code Er FF
This code is not to be confused with the O FF or demo mode error message. The "Er FF" error code indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan. The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue. Contact customer service if the error code continues to be displayed after having thawed the unit.

Hope helps.
