The problem is my acer laptop 5420-5687 using Vista is freezing

Whenever, I am on the my webcam on yahoo messenger my computer is freezing and I am getting knock off the Internet.
What causes that problem?

I started my computer and it comes up to the place where I put the password and the keyboard is locked. I can't get it unlocked

plz check the drivers for the webcam are updated, scan your pc for viruses.
