We usually turn off the UPS on leaving. Upon trying to put it on the next day, the UPS does not come on again. I have tried holding down the power button for some seconds to activate battery power but nothing.
Well how long you had use the battery already if it more than 3 yrs it time to change a new one the time of the lifespam of the battery it startin to decae or the battery is bad. replace a new battery and test it up.. i sugguest you to on the power of the ups all the time. no need to worry for the equiment to be gettin spoil.. ups is able to with stand the unstable power and to protected the equiments.. the liabitily of the ups is high.. if you keep turn off the ups you may not a ware that u are not fully turnin off the ups that cause of the internal chargin may still charging and dis discharge and cause the life spam of the battery to dead faster.. that becoz the battery after u install into the ups it start to charge and discharge 300 cycles so it juz nice to prolong till 3 yrs but if you turning off and on it will speed up the cycles..

It does sound like a psu problem, if you are comfortable with opening your pc then (remember to use anti static wrist band rubber matting etc) and remove the psu and give it a good dusting (as the dust does collect in on the fan and inside the unit itself (please be careful when working with this unit as it is a power unit and can be dangerous) put unit once cleaned back into the pc making sure you reconnect everything carefully. (if you are not sure rather take it to a professional as you can do some serious damage to your mother board and or peripherals. but this should give a few more boot ups ultimately you could replace it with a new PSU.
Leave the machine working to see the next message of Adding Toner. Usually the next message of "Adding Toner" is "Ready to Copy".
If the next message is "Add Toner", i suggest you to pull the new toner kit out and push it a little bit harder and check again.
If you power the machine off and on again, can you see what the message about toner is, Original or Unknown Toner is installed?
The most common problem with UPS that no longer works is that the battery is dead. They often do not last longer than a few years. Replacement batteries can be bought rather inexpensively at any battery store. Usually they are some combination of 12 volt 7 amp sealed lead acid batteries. Replacing them usually get the UPS going again.
By the way. If you do not want to go to the expense of replacing the batteries, the UPS usually still functions as a first class surge arrestor and line filter.
Reinstall your Windows program, try buying a solid state hard drive and put your Window program on it alone usually a 120gb or 200gb will do, and have another hard drive for all your other downloads, ever since i did that my Windows loads much faster and have no hang ups or errors..
Batteries in the UPS typically last 3 to 5 years and it depends upon several factors. including the number of times the unit must go on battery power and environmental conditions. There are usually several batteries in the UPS and while the battery voltage may show 13 volts, this may only be a float charge/voltage and a true indication of the battery voltage and condition requires the batteries to be tested under a load. There maybe one battery in a set of batteries that is faulty and causes the whole battery system to fail and indicate a battery fault. These lower powered and cheaper KVA type UPS are switch over types, when the mains supply fail, the UPS switches over to the inverter in milli-seconds which then supplies mains power but the power waveform is a pseudo sine wave (ie not a true sinewave. A faulty inverter circuit won’t deliver power when the mains supply fails.
The true UPS types are usually the higher KVA units (over 1500 VA) that supplies uninterrupted mains power. The mains power is connected to a charger which charges the batteries and the inverter draws power from these batteries and converts it to true sine wave mains power therefore there is no switch over time lag from the mains to the battery.
you might have damaged files on your sd and that is probably causeing the malfunction in which your phone shuts off so if you download from a new site you should be good or get a new sd it might be faulty
Try leaving it off, but plugged into the wall outlet so the batteries can charge up. If they are new, they are probably without a charge. The instructions should indicate how long it needs to charge - probably most of the day.
Don't turn it off, the battery needs to be constantly charged or refreshed. They will go bad just sitting around with no voltage applied. The UPS draws very little power and has surge protection so there is very little to worry about.
