See if there's something blocking the metal of the memory card and use something like a flat screw driver to scratch it. If doesn't work, then it simply implies that the memory card may have spoilt

The phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation.

try to format with the following link

My memory card says it is full and wont work in anything all my holiday pics on it how can i get it to work again?

try removing the card and put it in a card reader (some newer laptops have one) to copy the memory cards content and to erase the files u don't need

u also may try getting a data manager software from the mobile's manufacturer's homepage and a USB cable fitting your phone
to copy the files to your PC.

Good luck

I have the Samsung SCH-R500 cellphone. Using Windows Media Player on my laptop, I downloaded in MP3 format from a music CD onto an SD microchip portable device (yes, I did format the chip beforehand). ...

The instructions which came with my phone state that the card must be formatted using the phone... done under Tools > Mass Storage. My instructions also state that music transfer is only possible using bluetooth or the USB cable. However, I found this to be untrue. After formatting the card using the phone, I placed the card in my computer and created a folder on the card called my_music. Placing mp3s in this folder seems to add them to my phone's playlist.
