SOURCE: Fox Shop Table Saw won't start

Your saw has a reset button inside the magnetic switch assembly. You may need to pull the cover off to reset it. Unplug the saw first.
Consult the user manual p47 at this link, if you don't have yours handy. http://edge.woodstockint.com/manuals/w1711ext_m.pdf
If that doesn't do it, look to a breaker in your fuse box.
i hope this does the trick. If so, please take a sec to rate this post. Otherwise, let me know what you discover and we'll try to sort it out!

SOURCE: Fox F36-522B table saw: The blade

Hi, there is no lever or knob adjustment as such but if you look underneath where the motor and blade shaft mount in the carrier you can loosen the mounting bolts and twist the carrier in the direction required to align the blade then re tighten them.1 mm out of parallel is only half a mm of twist. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

IF you take the bearings to a good autoparts store or a bearing supply shop, they can look them up or they can micrometer them and find substitutes. This is a lot more productive then trying to locate a dealer or service center.

Fox mini lathe not running right

Could you be a bit more specific? This is a very simple machine...it either works or it doesn't. Have you checked the belt? Is it binding, or cross-threaded on the drive spindles?

My new 1677 won't run, just hums. Shop Fox tech support seems clueless. Say that running saw on a 5000 watt generator invalidates warranty even though manual never mentions problem with using generator....

I am with you on the start capacitator. I would look at the model and make of the motor and give mgf. a call see if they have one.
You do need the amps there to start these saws. Make sure it matches what your generator is putting out.
Please let me know what you find.

I don't know about Cleveland, but a while ago I replaced the bearing on my Sears Craftsman saw, and it wasn't a hard fix. I would expect any competent repair shop could do the repair easily. If you can get the arbor off and take it to the shop, that would be ideal. It only takes loosening a few bolts to get it off. I first removed the cast iron top from the sheet metal base so I could turn it over, but it can be done from the bottom, too. Just be prepared to eat some sawdust. The most specialized thing the shop would need is a bearing press to get the bearing in and out of its seat, and many shops would have these; they aren't very expensive. Maybe a good machine shop which does small jobs could do it for a small fee. A good place to find these is at your local auto parts store, such as NAPA or O'Riellys (here in MIssouri, anyway, but you get the idea). Your auto repair shop probably knows one or two they use for 'turning' brake drums, etc. BTY, I didn't have a bearing press and I did the job with carefully tapping the bearing back on with a sleeve made from a piece of scrap pipe. Tauton Press makes a great DVD on tuning up your saw after this fix, as you want to make sure
it is square with the table in two dimensions - parallel to the miter saw slots and perpendicular to the top. Good luck.
