Question about Siren Edge MP3 Player
I have this booting problem and also it deletes the files itself
and now although the pc sees the songs i put, when i disconnect it says no files
i thought about formatting mp3player but windows media player doesn't actually deletes all files most of them remains
so i thought about formatting manually by windows would it harm my mp3player? because it says you'll lose settings
You are supposed to format the mp3 player with Windows. This wipes ALL files off the player and creates an 'environment' for windows files. You only do this when you first buy the player, or if the player experience functionality problems.
The files that don't appear on the player are probably WMA files and/or mp4 files. These are protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM) and will still be 'on' the player but won't appear in the screen or won't play. You should only put mp3 files on the player, so make sure the files you download are in mp3 form, or try to convert them to mp3 files before you put them on the player.
A good file converter is Switch.
