Question about ASUS P5QL-E Motherboard, LGA775, Intel P43 + ICH10R, Dual DDR2, PCIe x16, SATAII, RAID, eSATA, Gigab

Hello, i have an onboard soundcard problem. My motherboard is ASUS P5QL-E and it uses Realtek's AUDIO AD2000B 8CHANNEL soundchip. It produces hishing sounds and does strange background noises like beeps and chackles. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

U need chak all of pwoer cable of mother bord its has been loose conntion try to fit it chak out the audio

There is no sound coming out of my motherboard audio plugs. I cannot find a Realtek audio driver for Windows 7.

You can either go on the Asus support site and download them there with your motherboard model number.

How to set up my 4.1 creative 4400 inspire speakers in asus P5QL-CM motherboard with windows xp. is it possible to tirn off the built in souncard and install a PCI soundcard? thanks in advance


Sure,install the creative sound blaster audigy 4 or whatever you got,plug in your speakers,& turn it on. Follow the instructions to install the drivers from the cd for the card.The onboard audio will be by-passed automatically when you install the card. If you need more help,write back.

put your hand on chip of your sound card on board if its hot so sure you need to disable and buy sound card or replace this chip also check audio jumper on board and try to install windows again and install the driver if u see on task bar sound volume icon check by tested headphone if there is out sound or no i wish i helped u
