SOURCE: asking simlock code
The sim lock code is the code that you will use to safe guard your sim card. If you do not know this then its best to imput the wrong code 3 times and then ask your service provider for you PUK code that they will provide free. After you imput the PUK code your phone will ask you for a new sime code of your choice.

SOURCE: Lost PUK-code. Now I want
you are trying to use a SIM card in your phone and getting a message like
"Enter Subsidy Code", "Incorrect SIM Card", "SIM not
provisioned" or similar messages, then you need an unlock code for your
mobile phone. You may get your code to your service provider Samsung SGH-D600 Unlock Code. I suggest to visit Samsung Unlock Code site, they will supply an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any network worldwide and don't have to stick with one network.
Hope this is helpful.
