SOURCE: RED TRIANGLE LIGHT STAYS ON CHEST FREEZER IS 10

defrost cycle is innactive, will ice up shortly and may not turn compressor off, defrost the unit totally(Turn off for 2 days with door open) and remove all water from the unit once done. Restart unit and should work normal for a week or so, ie...defrost cycle...get back to me if this is the case and will sort it from there, wgheaven@yahoo.com.au Russ

I defrosted my Electrolux intuition chest freezer yesterday and the red warning triangle on the lid won't stop flashing now. Why?

Check the temperature inside the freezer, chances are it just is letting you know it hasn't reached the correct temperature yet.

Red light on bosh classixx fridge freezer

sounds like compressor has failed to start and overload is triggered(red light) it could be start capacitor fault or overload itself faulty .
If both of these items ok and compressor has power to it then compressor will require replacing.when you switch of refrigeration equipement the oil in the system will drain down to the lowest point and thats normally compressor and if its filled up the suction side of compressor it will cause compressor to lock up (hydraulic)

Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed
and PLEASE give a Thumbs Up for the effort. The Raz Shack
