a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Press the "ip address" button and set.
The model cross references to a Ricoh MP C3000 (Ricoh builds all Savin machines). You can get all the manuals here:

yes a 672 is an address book error. do you have scanner feature on this machine?. it may be bad. you may need a tech to come remove the option. turn the machine on and use it as a copier. then reinstall the option and see if the error returns. it could be a static build up or the option is bad.

Did you format the new drive through the service mode on the copier? As long as the drive is compatible then it should work once you format it.

If you are sure that there is paper in the tray the problem is in the papaer sensor.
It maybe broken or out off the place.
Take the tray out and look inside. Maybe you see the sensor out off the place. If so just put it gently in the place.
Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: my Savin 2535 MF scanner
The server daemon for receiving files to the desktop computer has stopped running, and is
failing to run at desktop (aka "server") boot time (aka "at power-up").
The print daemon on the "server" is fine, so printing to the Savin works fine. In this mode of operation,
the desktop computer is actually the print client, and the Savin 2535 MF is the print server.
For clarity, for printing, the desktop computer is the client, and the Savin is the server.
However, for scanning, the Savin is the client, and the desktop computer is the server.
You'll need to post your desktop computer's operating system (Linux? WinXP? WinVista? Win7?)
for more specific help.
For clarity, you definitely have a software problem, not a hardware problem.
Note that the missing scanner server daemon operates at a software layer several (TCP/IP) protocol
layers above the routing level (level 3), where the IP address is utilized, so that the fact that the
Savin has the correct IP address for the desktop computer would not resolve the issue, but it is, of
course, necesssary for that to be correct (its necessary, but not sufficient).
