Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
I accidently uinstalled my touchpad driver synaptics driver on my dell inspiron 1470 laptop
You can do a system restore in your computer to revert it back to the known good condition.
go to start or pearl > Accessories > System tools > system restore. Select the date when the synaptics driver was still in your computer.
I hope this helps.

You can try the following steps.
1. Turn laptop off.
2. Remove all external devices and disconnect AC adapter power cable from the system.
3. Remove the battery from the system.
4.Hold down the power button continuously for at least 5 seconds. Do not release the power button during this process.
5.Insert the battery back to the system.
6.Power the laptop back on.
Try using touchpad again.

check DEVICE MANAGER if the wireless card have the right driver installed. if you found that the wireless card have yellow exclamation point on the right it means, you installed a wrong driver.
check also in BIOS if the wireless card is enable and the switch is turn on.
press Fn+F2 to enable wireless radio/anthena (funtion key with wireless icon in blue color)
some dell laptop have hard switch located right side check this and turn the switch on.
if you want to see the icon n task bar, go to control panel....network connection...right click on wireless adapter...select properties...check Show on taskbar

you are going to have to go into the control panel and to the mouse properties. in there you will be able to put the icon back in the taskbar. i dont know why it changed itself though. on my dell a couple times i had to reinstall the mouse drivers for some reason. i just went to dell.com and got them there. hope this helps
