Unfortunately, the iPhone doesn't (yet) have such capability built-in. But engaging the iPod function to listen to music/video audio while a call is taking place will allow you to hear said audio. Obviously this is not an ideal solution. If your phone is jailbroken, there is a tweak to enable music to be played through the bluetooth headphones but it is low quality.

After a few moments, the indicator light will be steadily lit in blue to indicate your S9 is in pairing mode. 3 From your device, perform a Bluetooth device discovery/search. . When pairing your S9, use the following steps to perform a device discovery from your phone: After accessing the Settings Menu, go to bluetooth. to add a new device, tap [New]. 1. Tap [New] key to search the device that can be connected and which is within range. The phone lists Bluetooth devices it finds. b Select Motorola S9. c Select OK or Yes to pair your S9 with your phone. d Enter the passkey: 0000 e Select OK.
When your S9 successfully pairs and connects to your device, the indicator light displays blue with 10 quick purple flashes. If wearing your S9, you will also hear an audio tone indicating successful pairing and connection to your device. 4 To verify your S9 has successfully established a handsfree calling connection with your phone, dial a phone number you want to call and press the Send key on your phone. When successfully connected, you hear ringing on your S9. A Bluetooth Handsfree Phone (HFP) connection is now established with your phone
all you gotta do is disconnect the device in the bluetooth menu and reconnect that way the lg shine will recognize the right ear piece. at&t wouldnt release a product if it didnt work. the only problem is that at&t didnt say it in there instruction booklet
All the bluetooth wireless headset are only capable of making/receiving voice calls. Y? its a bluetooth software which is installed on ur cell phone. it is not capable of listing the music through the BT headset. BT 1.1 Software version only lets you listen to mono. BT 1.2, Version playing music through a BT headset while music is playing on laptops. and again we need to find out what BT software version is on the phone and if sony erricsson came out with better BT software for your needs.
I bought the same headset and also have a K1m, I did research and found out that the k1m does not have a2dp technology so it will not play music on any bluetooth stereo headset, in order to listen to music through a headset you will have to get the handsfree wired stereo headset, bummer
