Re: LCD Television

Sounds like a video processing issue in the unit. Repair on those usually is just board swapping.

Television colour flash fault

Hi Nathan
Contact the authorized service center. These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy.

Hi there
You could try adjusting the colour setting in the PICTURE menu
keep a sufficient distance between this product and other electronic products
Scroll to other channels. There is always the possibility of a problem in the broadcating.
Good luck

My hdtv turns green when i try to play my xbox 360 why?

Are you using component video?

If the Green (Y) provides Luminance, Red (Pr) and Blue (Pb) are the colour bands. If only the Blus is pluged in then you will have a blue-green screen. If you have the Blue and Red switched then you will have weird colour aswell.

If you are using HDMI then unplug and re-plug the connectors.

Samsung LE26R7 4BD, approx 4 years old, colour distortions

Check all of your cables on the back of the tv and your sources such as Cable,Sat box and DVD palyer to make sure they are fully inserted into the input and output connectors. Some times Component cables will work loose and you end up with a missing color. Temprature changes can affect intermittant connections. If that does work then you have a bad Main bd.
