My Targa DataBox V500 is no longer recognised (USB connection): message says "USB device has malfunctioned" and "driver may not have installed correctly". I am trying to get at data...

This sounds like Windows 7 has managed to corrupt the drivers for this device.
  • Connect it to your PC
  • Open Control Pane
  • In Classic view, choose Device Manager
  • Notice any devices with a yellow shield, right click on them and delete them
  • From the Actions menu, choose Scan for hardware changes
  • Windows will look for new drivers for those devices
Hopefully this will resolve your problem

My computer sees that the ext. drive is being connected but does not show it listed on "My Computer" and therefore makes the data on the ext. drive inaccessable.

Hello, I suspect your external has not been assigned a drive letter and so cannot be mounted by windows. To confirm:

1. Open start menu, right-click my computer and click manage. Then click disk management
2. Check if your external is listed and if a drive letter has been assigned, if not:
3. Right click on your external, choose change drive letter and paths, click add and then assign a drive letter. Choose ok and you are good to go.

Other causes of this problem may be a hard-drive errors or a faulty cable.

Oven shows an F2 flashing after self cleaning along with a beeping sound.

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
The F-2 error code Indicates that oven is over temperature in one of the following modes within either a cooking or clean mode of operation.
· Control senses oven temperature above 650 degrees F with the door circuit in the unlock mode.
· Control senses oven temperature above 935 degrees F with the door in the locked mode.
· Stalled cooling fan or airflow problem. · Look for welded relay contacts. (Heating elements on in off mode).
· Look for open thermal switch in lock motor circuit. Switch is normally closed and will open if area overheats due to fan not operating. Look for cause - fan thermal switch not closing, fan stalled, etc.
· Look for high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit due to high contact resistance (poor terminal crimp, deformed terminals, loose connection) or intermittent solder joint on control or intermittent oven temperature sensor.
· Look for electrical noise interference in the oven temperature sensor circuit (Ham radio, cordless phone, etc.).

I have a yamaha RX-4659 receiver and my Zone 2 (outside speakers) had been working great for the last 3 summers. Now, I am unable to get any music to my outside speakers. When I try to adjust volume for...

Zone 2 has been switched to "EXT" in the setup menu. Switch it to "Amp" or "Int" and it should be fine. It thinks you are using an external amplifier. If you need further help, post a reply and I will help you further. Hope this does the trick for you!

Tv has no sound

check your menu and make sure your speakers are on for the tv. also make sure your connections to the tv- have audio going to the tv. on certain tv's they have an internal-external manual swith on the back of the set that could be in ext instead of int-if so switch it to int. beyond that you need to call for service.

Sanyo tv mod. ds27780 has no sound .Picture is fine.

This can be a few things. 1.Do you have the TV on MUTE? 2. Can you switch the audio on the TV menu from INTERNAL to EXTERNAL? If set on INTERNAL, then this is the right setting for speaker output on the TV. 3. Is there a switch on the back of the TV that can be switched from INT to EXT? Be sure it is switched over to the INT setting. If these are all correct, the amplifier in the TV set may be out, or the speakers may be blown. Was the TV played at a high-volume? This is all I can think of presently. Let me know what happens. Hope this helps...
