C366e This is an electric cooker and the main oven has gone -no longer working. the clock/timer is blank also. The 4 solarglo rings on the top all work fine and the grill/oven looks ok too (but is rarely used) but the lower (main) oven and clock are dead. any ideas?? Many thanks

Most common problem is that the grill element is probably faulty/blown. Also check the wiring at the grill element terminals as wiring sometimes burns off. The grill controllers don't normally get faulty as they generally last a lot longer than the elements.

If the clock is blank, then the main oven will not work, as the clock timer is linked with the main oven.
You need to to get the clock working, or you will not be able to use the main oven

You have to remove the complete top assy as one unit. To do this you need to remove the side panels, there are screws at the rear, and some at the front of the oven, you will then be able to see the screws securing the top
The top then slides towards the rear, then you can gain access to the timer unit.
