Question about Quinny Zapp Baby Gear
From this description you have a Quinny Zapp (or Zapp Xtra) and it is the hand grip connection bar which has broken.
As this part is attached with rivets it is considered a Level 3 repair, which means the chassis would need to come in for our engineers to provide inspection / repair work required.
If you're in the UK and the product is under 2 years old please contact your retailer with proof of purchase and they will make arrangements for it to be sent to the engineers under warranty terms and conditions.
If you're in the UK and the product is over 2 years old or you no longer have proof of purchase please contact the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) to book in for chargeable inspection / repair work. Charges start at 39.99GBP for a single repair.

OK, we saw your problem and after a lot of mucking around I have found a solution. The small metal links on the straps attaching the pushchair have a gap in them. If you twist the loops on the strap to one side, you can work the straps through the small gap.
