Question about Sony Ericsson w580i Cellular Phone

HI, I am having problems with my Sony Ericsson. I can hear the voice of the person that contacts me or I contact but they cannot hear me.

    Hmm maybe you are right. I have accidently dropped it a couple times a while ago though. Maybe that took effect on the sound now because this problem only started to occur a couple days ago. Sadly the warranty is over too. I've had the phone for a year and one month now. Thanks for your comment.

I think u have to use ur phone carefully becas sony ericsson cell phones have a disadvantage of loosing sound after fall into the floor from ur hand.u had better
submit ur mobile with guarrenty/warrenty card to the shop from where u buy it.

the speaker in your mobile which provide hearing voice is disbalance to their orignal place .place it its orignal place or change the speaker. This the only solution.

Can not hear voice on my sony ericsson phone. If i turn the phone to speaker mode then i can hear callers voice w380i


This could possibly be a software problem contact your service provider and have them send you a replacement or reset your software from their location.

Can't hear the other person


u can use the +/- buttons on the side..... however ive been using this set n it sure does have a low incoming voice volume :(

Sony Ericsson W580i is not working.


Try this and let me know if it works, if not, I will suggest something else.


Turn off the phone, take the battery out and let it sit there for thirty seconds. Replace the battery, power up the phone and try it again. That should fix the problem.

W700i phone ,when call is picked up, unable to hear the voice of other person sometimes...


Yeah well better take your mobile for service to a Sony Ericsson showroom..Even i had a same problem in sony w810i which got fixed after a service..Thank you!!...
