Question about Garden
First pull the rope and see if it has compression. rope should not be too easy you will fill when the piston goes throughh its power stroke it will get harder. If so see if it has spark compression and spark . 9 x out of ten for me anyhow is i have no spark. so take the top end off. mounted on the head off mower will be a coil and the coil rest against the flywheel. the flywheel will have some magnetic strips on it ok sand them down lightly with steal wool and do the same for the coil then for me i don't actually know the correct feeler gauge measurement to maintain distance between the too pieces but i just use a match book top to set between them it always works annd then check for spark if you steal have no spark see if when you pull back the cable on the handleconected down by the flywheel moves it all the way back if it does not it will just ground itself out. i had that problem mine would move but not all the way so it was resting against the flywheel ever so slightly and if it steal no spark the coil you have must be no good.. try and see if you have some friends that might have an old junk one around similar to yours if so try those to buy them new Is ridiculously over price to me . For example my weed eaters coil went bad was going to buy a new one but they wanted over 65 dollars and i only spent 110.00 on it bran new so might as well buy a new one
