If the washer is the kind that shuts off completely when the pistol grip is released, the problem is likely the little pressure sensor located near the output fitting (the threaded part to which the hose connects). The sensor is a little plunger held down against an opening in the side of the pipe by a spring when there is low or no pressure in the output pipe, as when the trigger is pulled and the pressurized water in the hose is released by pulling the trigger. That completes the electrical circuit and the washer is on and continues pumping water. When the trigger is released, water in the hose and output pipe jams up super high pressure, forcing tjhe little plunger out against the spring, and the electrical circuit is broken. If you take the case apart, you will see wires coming from that area. The fix (if this is the problem) is to free up the little plunger.

Will start and run fine water comes out but has no pressure

Maybe bad pump. Remove wand and wand hose, run machine with water in. High pressure water coming out of wand/hose connection, bad wand or hose. No high pressure water, bad pump, replace.

HF error on display

An FH error often means that the machine doesn't see the water coming into the machine (or that the water pressure is too low). If the water has been flowing into the washer for 8 minutes, then the pressure switch is faulty. (The unit shuts off the water flow and gives the error to avoid flooding.) Press Pause/Cancel Twice.

If there was no water to the machine, check that the inlet water valves are open. Check the inlet hose filters for clogs and that the hoses aren't kinked. You may want to change your water hoses in case they sealed themselves against leaks. Also check your incoming water pressure.

If there was water in the washer, check that the drain pump is functioning (and that nothing is clogging the pump filter/coin catcher). Also check that the discharge hose isn't positioned lower than the water level in the washer. This will cause a siphon problem where the water will flow in and out of the washer continuously.

Disconnect the washer from the power and make sure that all of the wiring for the inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump and flow valve have no breaks in them. Make sure that the inlet and outlet hoses inside the washer are not leaking. (The connection between the hose and the drain pump and the hoses to the washer tub can leak.)

After this set of tests, reconnect the power and check the pressure switch, the flow meter and the CCU (main control board). Replace any faulty part.

You may want to consult a repair person for some of these tests and repairs. If the washer is under warranty, get the unit serviced if the problem isn't in the hoses.

I hope this helps.

I have a 2600 Troy bilt pressure washer. When I start the pressure washer,no water comes out the nozzle and the nozzle is not clogged either.I took the nozzle/gun off and there still was'nt any wat

If when you take the High Pressure water hose off the pressure washer pump no water will come out they you may simple have the bypass valve stuck. You may need to just remove the outlet fitting and clean the bypass valve.
It would be helpful to know the model number of the pressure washer or the pump.

Washer over fills with water

They work on a pressure switch. It has a rubber hose that connects to the bottom of the drum and runs up to the top control panel. When water fills up into the hose the air pressure trips a switch. So either the switch is bad and not making contact when it clicks. Or the hose is leaking air so it won't let it build up enough pressure. I had one that a mouse got up into and chewed a hole in the hose. You can take the back panel off of the top control panel and let the water in and listen to see if the switch clicks when it gets fulll. If it does and doesn't stop filling then it is a switch.
Or it could be the water shutoff switch where the water hoses hook up. If it is that then it will run all the time, more than likely. Is that what it is doing? Does the washer start running and water keeps coming in? Because it wont start running until the pressure switch is enganged. If it starts running and keeps coming in it is that. Good luck hope this helps.

I pressed cancel & it still wont work! its flashing "H" & "F"

Press Cancel twice. Then check your water inlet. Are the valves open? Unplug the washer. Then close the valves and disconnect the water hoses. Check the filters in the hoses (if present) and at the washer inlets for objects clogging the filter. Make sure that the hoses aren't kinked when you reconnect them to the washer and the incoming water valves. Make sure that you have sufficient water flow coming into the washer. The pressure must be above 20 PSI . Replace the hoses. (If you use certain anti-flood hoses, they will seal and block water flow when they notice a pressure issue that could be from a water leak.)

Plug the washer back in, reselect your wash cycle and then press Hold to start. If the FH error persists, then you probably have a problem with the inlet valve or the pressure switch for the valve. Call for service if the washer is under warranty or you aren't sure that you can replace the valve. (See the parts list labeled Top and cabinet parts.)

The manual and parts list for the Duet GHW9150P washers are available from Whirlpool here: . There are several models so look for yours.

I hope this helps.

Pressure washer won't start. It has gas, oil and I turned the switch to turtle and to rabbit position. Does it matter if water is on first or not? It won't start either way.

Turn the water on, hold trigger down and let water run thru the hose to prime the air out of the hose. If it still will not start check the spark plug and clean it or replace it. A bad spark plug will keep it from starting
