Hypercom t7plus initialize

Hi, My Hypercom t7plus does not initialize. it keep giving me comm error? How do i fix this problem. thank you.

SOURCE: comm errors

The fax machine needs to be reset. Simply shut off the machine, wait one minute, and turn on machine & fax. If turning off the machine does not clear your machine then you have to unplug the machine & follow the same procedures. Worked for me.

There is a big chance this is a line problem, contact your phone line company before trying to fix or replace your Fax modem on the MFP.

Turn off your printer and remove the ethernet cable connecting to your printer for2-3 minutes. Then try to plug the ethernet cable or usb cable into the computer.

Putting a number in manually the machine says try again TO

Timed Out (TO) indicates the terminal made a connection but it timed out because there was no reply from the host.
have your MID checked in Term master/ your merchant service provider can assist

call your credit card processor, they have to call TSYS to get them to clear it on their end as well.

How to fix settle error RB-000-E0001H18000 on a hypercom t7plus

that error RB: means repeat batch / the batch was already sent and needs to be cleared out of the machine. TSYS also needs to clear it on there end too.

Hypercom t7plus is asking for a password for t.i.d. whats that?

Default Password for the Hypercom T7 Plus is: 0000
The default programming password for the T7Plus is 028510

Clear memory of hypercom T7plus

Power up the terminal -- should display "Swipe Customer Card".

Press Function 3 [enter] and immediately hold down and continue holding the 1st, 3rd, and 5th keys in the second column of the terminal. (This will put the terminal in boot mode)
Please Initialize or Call Help - FE **If this response does not appear on the terminal repeat this step.
Press Function 98 [enter] (This will clear all the page memory (software) in the terminal)
Correct Yes or No?
Press Enter
The terminal will go through boot sequence and respond with Please Initialize or Call Help - PE.

Confirm the procedure by unplugging then powering the terminal back up and it still displays -- Please Initialize or Call Help - PE. after the boot sequence

1) Make sure your terminal is on the main screen: “Swipe Customer Card”. If the terminal does not say this then hit the CANCEL button until it does.
2) Press FUNCTION, 10, ENTER.
3) The terminal will prompt for a password. Type in 0000 ENTER.
4) The terminal should prompt you to enter the date. Type in the date in MMDDYY format then hit ENTER. The terminal then prompt you for the time. Enter the time in HHMM format, in military time. For example, 3PM would be 1500.
5) The terminal should automatically go back to the “Swipe Customer Card” screen. Check to make sure the date and time have been updated (it should be displayed on the main screen). If they have not, then repeat these steps up to two more times to make the change stick.
