Question about Televison & Video
Clearly it might be a audio circuit problem depending on how often it happens try to see if it does it with a DVD connected to the rear input jacks--may of course rule out some things or confirm where the problem is.
If the audio is lost because of a problem related to the tuner in the set you should not have it when using the rear jacks.
If on all inputs suspect the audio circuit in the set.
