SOURCE: water is in the bottom
That water should be draining out the hole in the evaporation compartment. The defrost drain is stopped up. Remove the service panel and get the junk out the hole and the water from defrost will drain out instead of in the bottom.
If ice is forming in the hole a neat trick to know is to run a wire from the defrost heater down in the hole a hair to keep ice from forming over the drain hole.
