Question about Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42 in. LCD HDTV
First if the set has a lockout feature for the keyboard and or remote(it could have either or both) Instructions for release are in the owner manual--read every page to find out.
If no manual Google the model number with "manual" to try to locate a free one.
Last resort is call customer service for Sharp and have them step you thru the process.
